Zhi Shuping meets with Spanish guests

n November 1, Zhi Shuping, Director-General of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), met with Rosa Aguilar, Spanish Minister for Environment, Rural and Marine affairs. The two sides held talks on matters concerning establishment of a high-level food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary group and animal product trade. Following the talks, Zhi and Aguilar concluded the Protocol between the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs of Spain on Requirements for Quarantine and Health of Horses Imported by the People’s Republic of China from Spain. Relevant staff of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the PRC,Department of International Cooperation, Department of Supervision on Animal and Plant Quarantine and Bureau of Import and Export Food Safety, as well as the Spanish embassy in China was present.
